Bramwell Station is the most northerly cattle station in Australia and offers a wide variety of services to the Cape York Peninsula. Located 3 hours North of Weipa or Archer River and 5 hours South of The Tip at the start of the OTL-4WD Adventure Track.
Apart from being a working cattle station, Bramwell welcomes all Cape York visitors to our Tourist Park where we have been catering for bus tours and individual tours since 1983. The Bramwell Station Tourist Park is just 6km off the main road to the Tip – the Bamaga Road and offers accommodation units or camping grounds in a picturesque Cape York setting, adjacent the original homestead and cattle yards.
The Station Bar has live entertainment for the busiest months of the season and offers good station meals to go with a cold beer or glass of wine. For travelers planning their visit during July will also have the option to join in on old style horse races at Bramwell Station’s Big Weekend.
Our Big Weekend offers events for the experienced and for families, including; poddy rides, foot races and a talent quest. This event is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family from across the North as well as making new friends and travel partners to experience our great region.
For those travelers who are only passing through, Bramwell Station also offers a refreshing stop at our Junction Roadhouse which is the last fuel stop between Weipa, Archer and the Tip. With the roadhouse offering a café and camping grounds we look forward to seeing all Cape York visitors whether it’s for a quick bite to eat or an overnight rest.
